Check the surface before brushing
Use your footwear maker's instructions to decide whether brass bristles suit the particular suede. Delicate nap, decorative stitching and worn areas deserve caution. Begin gently on an inconspicuous dry area and stop if fibres lift or the surface changes unexpectedly. More pressure is not a reliable answer to a stubborn mark.
