Affiliate disclosure
How product links support the publication.
The short version
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Product links on this site may be affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
Recognising a paid link
A commission-bearing link carries a nearby disclosure. A link identified as a manufacturer reference is provided for product information; it is not automatically an affiliate link. Direct store links marked as non-affiliate do not earn us a commission. Amazon purchase links are labelled separately and open Amazon when you choose to follow them.
Automatically published guides
AI-assisted guides may include relevant products from an approved catalogue. Product selections are checked for relevance and material compatibility, but this is not a hands-on test. Some guides have no purchase links because no suitable product is listed. We do not invent ratings, discounts, availability or personal experience to encourage a purchase.
Editorial decisions
A commission does not justify a recommendation, a test score or a claimed result. Product descriptions are kept distinct from documented testing. Read our editorial standards for how those distinctions are handled.
Advertising
The current website does not load display advertising scripts. If advertising is introduced, it will be identified and the privacy and cookie notices will be updated to reflect the implementation.
